Crack Initiation Models for Flexible Pavements
The objective of this study is to develop crack initiation models to be used in pavement management systems and design equations for flexible pavements in the conditions, which represent the wet-freeze climate. In the study, crack initiation is defined as the first appearance of cracking in the wheel paths due to traffic and climate effects.
