The Four County submarket consists of Bastrop, Caldwell, Travis, and Williamson Counties. The Hays County submarket consists of Hays County and the county seat of San Marcos. San Marcos, which lies approximately 30 miles south of Austin and 50 miles north of San Antonio, is the home of Texas State University (TSU).
