The manual provides complete documentation for a main-frame computer program for the hydraulic analysis of rectangular box and circular culverts. The program is written in Fortran, and the manual contains the complete program listing. The computer program will design conventional culverts based on design theory contained in the Federal Highway Administration's (FHWA) publication HEC No. 5, 'Hydraulic Charts for the Selection of Highway Culverts.' Improved inlets for culverts can also be designed using the program based on FHWA's publication HEC No. 13, 'Hydraulic Design of Improved Inlets for Culverts.' The improved inlet designs include leveledged, side-tapered and slope-tapered inlets.
