Supplementary Studies in Highway Illumination
This interim progress report summarizes the finding of three years of research in highway illumination and describes work currently underway. The overall objective of the study is to develop improved methods of highway illumination by reducing glare, increasing uniformity, and providing increased safety by increasing luminaire mounting heights and allowing greater distances between poles. (BPR abstract)
