The Mid-America Industrial District encompasses an area of 8,320 acres on a main highway connecting Kansas City and St. Louis with Dallas and Houston, 40 miles east of Tulsa, Oklahoma. In order to create a general development plan in accordance with stated objectives, a study was based on market considerations and other location factors, topography and other physical considerations, and improved utilization of existing facilities development.
