A Study of Strain Hardening and Fracture in Iron-Based Alloys
This final report summarizes the results of 16 papers from separate investigations into various aspects of Macroscopic and Microscopic Fracture behavior of steel. Particular attention of paid to understanding the relationship between macroscopic and microscopic aspects of fracture, the development of inexpensive fracture testing techniques, and an understanding of the metallurgical parameters that control fracture behavior.
