Energi- og miljoeanalyser af bygninger. Eksempelberegninger. (Energy and environmental analyses of buildings. Examples)
The Danish Building Research Institute has developed a model and a spreadsheet program for calculating the total energy consumption of buildings and their energy-related emissions of CO2 and SO2. This was used for analyses of 22 buildings. Total energy consumption for construction, operation and disposal, together with the energy-related emissions of CO2 and SO2 during the entire life cycle of the building, was calculated for 4 single-family houses and one apartment building, comprising houses of today's standard, low-energy houses and an experimental house (Villa Vision). Analyses and comparisons were carried out on the total energy consumption for construction and the net energy consumption for heating and ventilation. Energy consumption for construction and the total quantities of building goods were calculated for 22 buildings, including the 5 mentioned above. The buildings comprise housing, agricultural, industrial, institutional, and office buildings. An analysis was made to show total variation in the result of the calculation in relation to the future reuse and the energy source in question. Energy consumption for construction is about 5% of the total for housing. For low-energy houses it is about 20%, and for Villa Vision, about 60%. Energy consumption for construction of buildings built in accordance with 1982 Building Regulations amounts to 13-23% of the energy consumption. For low-energy houses, it is 75%, and for Villa Vision, it is 40% greater than net energy consumption. Energy consumption for construction is highest for houses and office buildings, and lowest for agricultural buildings. (AB) 18 refs.
