The national energy research programme LVIS-2000: Future Building Services is concerned with the control of energy use and indoor climate in buildings of the future. The projects were presented at a one day seminar arranged by the Laboratory of Heating and Ventilation of the Technical Research Centre in Finland which is coordinating the programme. The presentations were focused on following topics: BEMS (Building and Energy Management Systems) in the future, Automation design and user interfaces, A general model for building automation, Control of room temperature, design of interfaces for building automation and simulation of control for air conditioning systems.
