Survey Records Investigation (Student Materials)
Enables student to find notes and plats applying to a given survey and describe the methods useful in transcribing the data and writing a history of surveys. Upon completing course he/she should be able to describe survey records, the system, evolution, and how to utilize the microfiche system on survey records. He/she should also be able to state how to investigate and research sources other than those of bureau of land management. Primary audience: surveyors, cartographers, and civil engineers.
