Proposed Hazard-Perry County Airport, Hazard, Kentucky
The Hazard-Perry County Airport Board, Perry County, KY, have completed a Master Plan to determine the aviation needs of the community. The plan proposes to acquire Federal funds to help: Acquire approximately 300 acres of land for airport development including clear and approach zones; construct a 75' x 4600' bituminous concrete runway; install medium intensity runway lights, two VASI's, a lighted wind cone, rotating beacon and runway marking; construct an access road of approximately one mile; construct a 3000 square yard bituminous concrete aircraft apron; and construct a 40' x 500' stub taxiway of bituminous concrete. Environmental impacts are discussed.
