Evaluation of the Ultrasonic Method for Detecting the Freeze/Thaw Cracking in Concrete. NORDTEST Project No. 1321-97
The purpose of the Nordtest project No. 1321-97 is to evaluate different ultrasonic measurement procedures so as to find a practically applicable test procedure for detecting the freeze/thaw cracking in concrete. Four institutions from the Nordic countries participated the work: the Aalborg Cement and Concrete Laboratory (CBL) in Denmark, the Technical Research Center (VTT) in Finland, the Norwegian Building Research Institute (NBI) in Norway, and the Swedish National Testing and Research Institute (SP) in Sweden.
