Development of Acceptance Plans for Airport Pavement Materials. Volume 1: Development
Statistically based acceptance/rejection plans and payment adjustment schedules were developed for five specifications: (1) excavation and embankment; (2) crushed aggregate base course; (3) cement treated base course; (4) econocrete subbase course; and (5) portland cement concrete pavement. The statistical analysis of data, development of payment adjustment plans (PAP), and development of PAP computer diskette system are presented. Test data used for this effort were collected from field sources. The developed PAP formulas, schedules, and computer diskette system were verified using new pavement construction projects.
