Dampening Vibration in Luminaire Structures
The research was implemented to solve a problem of damaging vibration which occurred in luminaire structures mounted on continuous span bridges. It was found that a truss dampener could be used which would dampen in excess of 90 percent of the potentially damaging vibrations.
