Performance Parameters for Easton Diversion Dam
This technical memorandum provides a comprehensive review and assessment of the visual monitoring of Easton Diversion Dam. Performance parameters are developed by defining: (1) Potential failure modes, including their causes; (2) Key parameters to provide confirmation of good performance, or ealy warning of the possible onset of potential failure or conditions that could lead to initiation of a failure; (3) A monitoring program to observe the key parameters and the general health of the structure, incorporating the existing program to the extent possible; (4) A range of expected performance for each element of the monitoring program; and (5) The action required if performance falls outside of the expected range of performace.
