Rawlins Field Office Review of Potential Wild and Scenic Rivers in the Rawlins Resource Management Plan Planning Area
As part of the planning effort for developing the Rawlins Resource Management Plan (RMP), the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) planning team members initiated a Wild and Scenic Rivers (WSR) review of all BLM-administered public land surfaces (public lands) along waterways within the Rawlins RMP planning area (previously known as the Great Divide RMP planning area). This review was to determine if any of these public lands meet the WSR eligibility criteria and suitability factors, as identified in the Wild and Scenic Rivers Act (WSRA) of 1968, as amended.
