Regional Issues Affecting Production and Maintenance of Metropolitan Atlanta Housing
Issues and proposed policies described are the result of problems identified in a six month housing study. Five principal areas are considered: Establishing coordinated regional housing policies; preserving existing housing units and neighborhoods; creating a receptive climate of opinion that will generate a metro housing outlook; broadening low and moderate income housing opportunities; and revising the regional plan and land development policies incorporating these aims.
