Rakentamisen Tyoellisyysvaikutukset (Employment Effect of Construction Sector)
VTT Building Technology and Tampere University of Technology computed some employed indicators for various sectors of the construction industry. The indicators are used as tools in determining the employment effects of new construction, renovation and modernization and civil engineering investments and maintenance. The employment effects were determined by input-output analysis. For the analysis, tables consisting of about 20 inputs into a building were drawn up. About 30 different input tables were used to study new building construction and renovation and modernization.
