Improved Drainage and Frost Action Criteria for New Jersey Pavement Design. Volume 1. Investigations for Subsurface Drainage
The objective of this project was to formulate the design methods and the construction and maintenance procedures for a subsurface road drainage system. An assessment of the state-of-the-art is presented along with a description of laboratory efforts to identify optimal materials for pavement drainage layers. Non-stabilized open-graded and bituminous-stabilized open-graded materials were developed.
