The purpose of this Annexation Study for Fort Oglethorpe was to investigate the feasibility of annexing areas contiguous to the existing city limits. These contiguous areas are divided into 10 study units. The boundaries of these study areas are determined based on existing roads, railroads, creeks, and other such features. In each study unit, the following features were examined: Land Use; number and condition of housing units; condition of streets; population; need for community facilities. (Author)
