Thickness-Shear and Flexural Vibrations of Partially Plated, Crystal Plates
In this paper, mathematical solutions are exhibited which predict the influence of length and mass, of rectangular electrode platings, on the Q of the fundamental thicknessshear resonance and on the number and distribution of anharmonic overtones between the cut-off frequencies of the plated and unplated portions of AT-type quartz plates.
