Community Facilities Plan, Mountain City, Tennessee
The existing community facilities within Mountain City, Tennessee and the surrounding area that are available to or serve the general public were inventoried and evaluated in this study. Both public and privately owned facilities such as schools, hospitals, recreational areas and the like were evaluated. The study first analyzed the existing facilities as they are today. These facilities were then compared with generally accepted standards to see if they conformed to current needs. Where these facilities were inadequate, recommendations were made for improvements.
