In 1995 the SRS Fire Department published the initial Operations Basis Document (OBD). This document was one of the first of its kind in the DOE complex and was widely distributed and reviewed. This plan described a multi- mission Fire Department which provided fire, emergency medical, hazardous material spill, and technical rescue services.
