Structural Properties of a Reinforced-Brick Wall Construction and a Brick-Tile Cavity-Wall Construction Sponsored by the Structural Clay Products Insitute
For the program on the determination of the structural properties of low-cost house constructions, 9 specimens representing a reinforced-brick wall construction and 18 specimens representing a brick-tile cavity-wall construction were submitted. The reinforced-brick wall specimens were subjected to compressive, transverse, concentrated, and impact loads. The brick-tile cavity-wall specimens were subjected to compressive, transverse, concentrated, impact, and racking loads. The results are presented.
