Project RF-329(11), Highway Improvement on Nebraska Highway 39, From 0.8 Mile South of Genoa, Nance County, Nebraska, Southeasterly for 1.54 Miles to a Termination Point
The proposed improvements represent 1.54 miles of highway construction beginning 0.8 mile south of Genoa, Nebraska and proceeding southeasterly across the Loup River. The project includes replacement of the existing bridge spanning the Loup River, replacement of two existing short overflow bridges with one larger structure, and approaches to the proposed two structures. It will be necessary to acquire additional right of way. The proposed improvements will not require relocations of residences, farm buildings or businesses. Increasing the width of right of way will have minimal adverse effects upon local wildlife. There may be some water pollution.
