Octree Builder Software for the Sculpturing Robot Project
As part of the Sculpturing Robot Project an octree builder has been developed. Given a shell, defined as a set of rational or non-rational B-spline surfaces enclosing a volume, the octree builder generates a representation of the shell by an octree. Also an octree to SIPSURF convertor has been developed. Given a text file containing an octree description a set of SIPSURF files representing the octree as a SIPSURF object is generated. The software has been written in ADA.
