A platform for research: civil engineering, architecture and urbanism
The paper is a document prepared to survey the relationship of recreation to rural Virginia. It is designed only to capsulize several existing reports to set the stage and propose some basic and logical recommendations that would assist in meeting recreational opportunities in rural Virginia. These opportunities exist both to provide an amenity desired by residents and new industry and to bolster local and regional economies by attracting tourists and vacationers. (Author)
