The Emergency Removal of Two Large Murals
Two murals by Oscar Cahen were removed by the strappo method from the Imperial Oil Building in Toronto while working within a construction deadline. The murals were faced with wet strength tissue using colletta. The murals were rolled onto Sonotubes and interleaved with polycotton fabric. The preparation of the tubes is also described.
