This was an investigation to determine the feasibility of installing radio type call boxes on a rural freeway, interstate Route 15 between Cajon and the Nevada State Line, a distance of approximately 165 miles (Phase I) and if found feasible and if such a system is installed, to make an evaluation and study the effectiveness of the system (Phase II).
