Composite Analysis of Concrete: Creep, Relaxation and Eignestrain/Stress
This report is part of the Danish Road Directorate's research programm 'HETEK - Control of Early Age Cracking. The composite-rheological concept introduced is successfully 'calibrated' in this report with respect to HETEK-concretes cured at a temperature of T - 20 degs C and a relative humidity of RH = 100%. This means that the basic rheological properties of HETEK-cement paste are determined - and that the mechanical properties mentioned above (creep, relaxation) can be predicted immediately for any concrete composition (water- cement ratio and aggregate content) with HETEK-cement past at (T,RH) = (20 degs, 100%). The material concept presented in this report and the analytical/numerical procedures derived are the results of a compilation and integration of ideas previously reported by the author in the field of concrete rheology.
