Brandgasintraengning i Skyddsrum Genom Vaeggsprickor (Flow of Fire Gases into Basement Shelters through Wall Cracks)
By a series of experiments, the leakage of fire gases into a basement shelter (52 cu m) was studied. The leak was a vertical crack in the shelter wall. In the series were varied the width of the crack (2-50 mm) and the fire environment outside the cracked wall. Examples are given of measured results, extreme values from all 25 experiments and estimates of the danger to man.
