Coolidge Dam was authorized in 1924 and was completed in 1928. It was built by the U.S. Indian Service. Today Coolidge Dam supplies water from the Gila River to the Gila River Indian Community and to non-Indian growers as well. Photographs, written historical and descriptive data is presented.
