Earthquake Response and Damage Prediction of Reinforced Concrete Masonry Multistory Buildings: Modification of NONSAP for Kinematic Input
A numerical procedure is developed to obtain the response of a finite element-decomposed structure subjected to a time-dependent kinematic boundary history. The procedure is incorporated into the nonlinear finite element program NONSAP. The validity of the procedure is exemplified by numerical examples. The program NONSAP forms the foundation for current development work concerning the simulated response of reinforced concrete masonry assemblies and multistory structures. The input information necessary to use this computer program is included in the Appendix.
