The Lakeview Dam is located on Buck Creek, Lincoln County, Missouri. The purpose of the dam is for flood control. The visual inspection did not reveal any items which are sufficiently significant to indicate a need for immediate remedial action. The following problems were observed which could affect the safety of the dam or which will require maintenance within a reasonable period of time. The obstructions in the downstream channels of the 24-inch diameter conduit and the right emergency spillway; The erosion of the upstream slope due to wave action; and The heavy vegetative cover on the upstream and downstream slopes.
