The goal of this project was to evaluate the design, building code, construction marketing issues faced by a builder considering the use of Insulating Concrete Forms (ICF) for a project within the United States. This study examines construction methods, builder perceptions, homeowner perceptions, costs, thermal performance, and energy efficiency, as these issues are impacted by the decision to use an ICF product.
