Analysis of Roof Radiation Experiments under Typical and Ideal Conditions
The report describes three sets of experiments performed at the Radiation Test Facility. The first series was concerned with measuring the exposure rate within an cylindrical interior partition below an annular plane of radiation on a four inch thick concrete roof. The second series was similar to the first but was performed on the rectangular test structure at the RTF. The final experiment reported measured the exposure rate from a twelve foot disk source attenuated by a two inch (25 psf) concrete slab. Agreement of theory with the experimental results is excellent.
