Material Models for Grouted Block Masonry
The overall objective of the research is to investigate the behavior and performance of grouted concrete masonry prisms under concentric and eccentric loadings. Specific objectives are: (1) Study the effect of shape and unit properties on the prism behavior under concentric loading. (2) Obtain the complete stress-strain curve for grouted concrete masonry prisms under concentric loading. (3) Study the material response under strain gradient effects. (4) Develop the stress parameters for the compressive stress distribution under eccentric loading.
