A platform for research: civil engineering, architecture and urbanism
A new generation systems architecture being developed at IBM in Owego, NY, is designed to bridge the gap between today's 1553-based systems and the fault-tolerant, totally integrated systems of tomorrow. This paper describes a novel approach to system functional area partitioning and the design of this generic distributed real-time architecture.
