The physical and thermal properties of methanol-lithium iodide-zinc bromide system were measured in order to examine whether this system is suited for absorption refrigeration. The specific gravity, viscosity, solubility, vapor pressure, specific heat, and heat of mixing of this system were measured. Using these observed data, the enthalpy-concentration diagram was constructed. From the thermal considerations concerning with this system, the performance and characteristics of this system were examined. (ERA citation 07:054715)
