Mesa Verde National Park. An Administrative History, 1906 - 1970
The report is a documented study of all available park administrative records. The information is to guide future management of the park and to contribute to interpretation and protection of the park's natural resources. Emphasis has been given to water resources, road construction, visitors' impact on the ruins, general conservation, ruins stabilization, relations with the Ute Indians, and others. The report includes a checklist of the most important excavations and discoveries made in the park since 1908, a bibliography, ten illustrations, and three maps. (Author)
