The influence of the 3 building materials 'brick', 'reinforced concrete' and 'wood' to animals was tested. A 3-generation study was performed for 14 months in 3 experimental buildings, identical except for the building material. The animals were caged in corresponding material. Around and within these buildings continuously physical-meteorological parameters being of biological relevance according to literature were measured. Biological indicators were: animal behavior, pathological changes, body weight gain, food and water consumption, reproduction activity. Animal organs were examined biochemically. All biological and biochemical parameters were within a range known from untreated, optimally housed animals from other studies.
