This report documents field demonstrations of magnesium chloride, calcium chloride, and polyvinyl acetate used as dust suppressants on unpaved roadways and airfields. The demonstrations were conducted during FY 84-FY 86, and the sites were located at Fort Stewart, GA, Fort Bliss, TX, Fort Irwin, CA, Fort Chaffee, AR, and Fort Campbell, KY. The description, applicability, benefits, limitations, costs, recommended uses, and location of demonstrations for three dust control technologies are discussed....
