Field Performance of Timber Bridges 2. Cooper Creek Stress-Laminated Deck Bridge
The objectives of the project were to design and construct the Cooper Creek bridge and evaluate its field performance for a minimum of 2 years beginning at bridge installation. The project scope included data collection and analysis related to the bridge behavior under static truck loading and general structure performance. The results of the project will be used to formulate recommendations for the design and construction of similar stress-laminated cottonwood bridges in the future.
