Bracing Berkeley: A Guide to Seismic Safety on the UC Berkeley Campus
From fall 2000 through spring 2003, Professors Comerio and Tobriner of the Department of Architecture taught a special seminar course focused on the UC Berkeley seismic retrofit program. The students in the course were asked to do case studies of various buildings on the campus. This guide is a short summary of those student papers. We thank these students for their participation and studies of individual retrofit projects without whom we could not have assembled this guide.
