Effects of Contaminants on Aggregate-Bitumen Mixtures
The principal objectives of this research were to determine the effects contamination have on various Alaskan aggregate's stripping characteristics and to compare the AASHO T-18w test method of quantitatively determining the degree of asphalt retention with the tracer salt procedure adopted by ASTM and later modified by the California Highway Department.
