Except for remnants of the northern route of the Oregon Trail, there are no significant cultural resources in the area that would be affected by the proposed potential Milner pumping plant. The remnants of the northern route of the Oregon Trail in this locality are themselves on the verge of disappearing through modern-day traffic and road development in the area and through infilling by shifting loess and sand. No outstanding or exceptional example of the northern route of the Oregon Trail exists in this locality. Therefore, construction of the pumping plant should have only a minimal impact on the Oregon Trail route as it presently exists in this locality.
