A Plan for Improving the Climate of Primorskii Krai
The feasibility of a plan for improving the climate of Primorskii Krai (far east Russia) by constructing a dam across the Nevelskii Straits, between the Sea of Japan and the Sea of Okhotsk is discussed. The problem of what changes might occur in the hydrological regime of the Sea of Japan if this dam were constructed is investigated.
