Estimating Smoke Production During Building Fires
In the absence of specific analytical methods for measuring the hazards of fire gases there is a trend towards the use of smoke production as a partial measure of this hazard. It is indicated that prediction of smoke concentrations and thus photometric properties during actual fires requires many important and rather critical assumptions.
