Archaeological Survey and Cultural Resources Evaluation, Cold Springs Rancheria, Fresno County, California
An archeological survey was conducted of the total 98 acres comprising Cold Springs Indian Rancheria. In this report are given: (1) a description of the project area, (2) a historic, ethnographic, and archeological overview, and (3) a description of survey methods. During survey five bedrock mortar sites and two historic properties were located. Historic properties consist of a modern cemetery, and the site of a demolished Indian School. Resources are evaluated for significance and management recommendations are provided. (Portions of this document are not fully legible)
