Report of an Investigation Into the Feasibility of Sharing Library Resources Between the California Institute of Technology, University of California, Los Angeles, and University of Southern California
The feasibility of sharing Library resources among three major and proximate academic institutions with dissimilar clientele, management constraints, and fund sources was found to be primarily a problem of (a) resolving conflicting inter-network priorities and methodologies, (b) over-coming real or imagined self-sufficiency, (c) building interstaff trust and working relationships.
