Summary of New York's Research on Pavement Marking Materials
This report summarizes New York's research on pavement marking materials from 1978 through 1989. Two-component epoxy, thermoplastic, preformed tape, polyester, and epoflex pavement markings were evaluated under this project. All the markings provided service life from 2 1/2 to 4 years, except for epoflex markings which exhibited premature adhesion failure. The five Research Reports summarized here are available to interested readers on request.
